November 17 is just around… it’s Jailex Joachim’s 2nd birthday..His 1st was a self proclaimed successful event and we’re planning to do it again in other setting… Talay Mental Rehabilitation Center is located in Talay, Dumaguete City, with 25 Bed capacities but accommodated 60 clients in this present time and roughly 300 outpatients. NOPH Extension Psychiatric Ward personnel disclosed that the patients of the psychiatric ward are only receiving a 10-peso budget each for a day. We have seen it personally and it’s kindda frustrating knowing that the government hasn’t done anything to at least provide them with their needs and protect their rights inspite of their disabilities.
That’s why we are appealing again to your better nature. For just a day, we are hoping to feed them with the foods we usually ignore coz it’s bountiful for us and foods that not only feed their stomachs but also replenish their souls and basically give them a break for their usual daily routine.
